As a Service Advisor, one of the most frequently asked questions I receive is, “When should I change my oil?” I love this question! When it’s asked, it shows me that there is an owner that cares. The answer to this question is simple, follow what the manufacturer recommends and you can’t go wrong. For Kia vehicles it is recommended every 6 months or 7,500 miles, whichever comes first. For Suzuki vehicles it is every 3 months or 3,750 miles, again whichever comes first. Some people would say this is too long, and that is okay. If you want to go 3 months or 3,000 miles, that is fine and it never hurts to get an oil change more often. What you never want to do is go over on your oil change. I get asked this question many times as well. So many vehicles come through the shop neglected and way over due for an oil change. Life gets in the way, I know, so busy you can’t see straight and bam it hits you, OH NO I’m overdue! I’m here to let you know you’re not alone. However it is important to never go over on your oil change. Prolonging your oil change gives your oil a chance to break down and sludge up your engine. We know there are many choices out there to get your oil changes done. With factory trained technicians, factory oil filters (made specifically for your engine) and semi synthetic oil at the proper weight for your engine, NO independent can beat that. Plus, here at The Kia and Suzuki Depot, we do as much as we can to help keep you on track. We provide you with a complete, easy to follow maintenance schedule, and we put lube stickers in the top left corner of your windshield as a visual aid in reminding you when you’re due. Also we will call you with a message service that reminds you when you’re due.

I wanted to write a letter of thanks regarding Matt Krieitzer. After a long drawn out struggle with bad customer service at Fed-Ex I reached out to your company. At first my struggle continued and no one seemed to want to help me out… That is until I got Matt on the other end of the phone. He was prompt, courteous and efficient. He went above and beyond the call of duty to assist me with my situation. Including, but not limited to, making calls on my behalf after he had left the office using his own cell phone. Then following up on his day off to ensure that I had the products I needed. Now that is SERVICE!
